About Yossi Markovich

Yossi is a Partner in the Litigation Group in PCZL’s Herzlia office, where he specializes in dispute resolution, with an emphasis on intellectual property litigation. Yossi advises a number of major technology-based companies on a wide range of intellectual property issues involving patents, trademarks, designs, copyrights, trade secrets, counterfeiting and unfair competition.

Yossi’s experience includes acting on behalf of major global corporations and academic institutions as well as multinational fashion companies, leading hotels chains, prime broadcasting networks, major retail corporations, and government agencies.

Yossi has appeared in intellectual property disputes before the Israel Patents, Designs and Trademarks Office and the entire range of Israeli civil courts and arbitration tribunals, for matters including civil proceedings involving temporary injunctions, seizure orders, oppositions and applications for cancellation, private criminal complaints and administrative actions.

Prior to joining PCZL, Yossi was an intern in the Haifa District Court.

Yossi writes and lectures on intellectual property issues for various academic, governmental and financial forums. His teaching engagements include being an adjunct lecturer for the law faculty of the Sha’arei Mishpat College as well as lecturing on intellectual property law at international and Israeli conferences organized by a number of organizations including Tel-Aviv University and The Weizmann Institute.
