About Tamar van der Boom, Ph.D.
Tamar is a Senior Patent Attorney in the Life Sciences Group of PCZL's Herzliya office. Tamar’s practice includes drafting patent applications and patent prosecution. She is a chemist with expertise in synthetic organic chemistry, coordination chemistry, combinatorial synthesis, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutics, material science, and nanoscale assembly of molecule-derived materials, as well as the design, synthesis, and physicochemical properties of functional thin films. In addition, she has a background in Cheminformatics.
Prior to joining PCZL, Tamar completed three years of postdoctoral research at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and then worked in the Chemistry Division of Compugen Ltd. in Israel.
