About Robert E. Alderson, Jr.
Dr. Alderson's practice encompasses all areas of intellectual property law, including management of clients' patent portfolios, patent and trademark procurement, patent and trademark litigation, opinion writing and counseling on complex legal and technical issues, and a variety of transactional matters. Although specializing primarily in life science areas, his clients include a wide variety of technology-driven companies and universities. Dr. Alderson has also written articles on important intellectual property issues.
Dr. Alderson received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 1988 from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. He received his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1997 where he graduated with honors.
