About Nachman Cohen-Zedek

Nachman Cohen-Zedek is a Senior Partner at PCZL and a member of the Executive Committee. Nachman is the son of the late S. Cohen Zedek who established Cohen Zedek & Spisbach, the first intellectual property firm in what was then Palestine, in 1927. Nachman joined his father's firm (by then Cohen Zedek & Rapaport) as a partner in 1985.

Nachman is a popular lecturer on intellectual property issues at various institutes. He is well-versed in numerous aspects of intellectual property litigation, including representation of international companies before the Israel Patent Office and the Courts. Nachman also has expertise in patent prosecution, intellectual property portfolio management, providing strategic advice, negotiating terms, and counseling start-ups. He has counseled clients in large due diligence matters, and rendered opinions on infringement, validity and patentability issues.
