About Mitchell C. Shelowitz
Mitchell C. Shelowitz is a business lawyer with more than 21 years of experience representing domestic and international clients in the full range of business and technology matters – from corporate deals to litigation. He was named as a New York Super Lawyer in 2012 for the sixth time, being recognized as one of the best business lawyers in New York City, and placing him in the top 5% of the profession.
Prior to joining Pearl Cohen Zedek Latzer, Mitch handled complex corporate and litigation matters with leading international law firms in New York and Tel Aviv, Israel. Mitch also served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary to Ceragon Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ:CRNT), a leading global manufacturer of broadband wireless telecommunications systems, and as Senior Legal Counsel to Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ: GILT), a leading global manufacturer of VSAT satellite telecommunications systems.
Mitch’s transactional practice includes representing mature and early stage companies and investors with mcommerce, ecommerce, telecommunications, software, Internet, new media technologies, and hospitality businesses, on technology licensing; private debt and equity financings; corporate structuring and counseling; supply, distribution, and manufacturing agreements; and employment and consulting agreements; among others.
Since 1991, Mitch has litigated a multitude of business law cases on behalf of Plaintiffs and Defendants in state and federal trial and appellate courts, including actions based upon breach of contract; unfair competition and misappropriation; copyright, trademark, and design patent infringement; shareholder disputes; finder's fee claims; noncompete and confidentiality matters; and employment disputes. He also represents clients in mediation and arbitration, including under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
