About Darya Dominova

Darya's practice encompasses corporate law, commercial transactions, intellectual property licensing and litigation, and corporate litigation and dispute resolution.  Darya has represented notable clients in the U.S. and abroad from a wide range of industries, including music, media, public relations, software, technology, telecommunication, internet, retail, apparel, food and beverage, restaurant and hospitality, and investment.  Darya structures and drafts a wide variety of commercial contracts and complex corporate documents.  Darya also provides services relating to trademark and copyright registration, and protection of trade dress and trade secrets.  Darya assists clients in connection with commercial lease transactions and franchise disclosure documents, and also specializes in corporate governance responsibilities of web-based companies.

Darya has diverse experience as a litigator, and has pursued and defended numerous corporate, commercial, and intellectual property disputes including claims for patent, trademark and copyright infringement, unfair competition, dilution, false advertising, and misappropriation.  Darya has also vigorously pursued and defended against shareholder derivative suits, and lawsuits involving company directors and officers relating to fiduciary duties and corporate mismanagement.

Prior to joining Pearl Cohen Zedek Latzer, Darya worked as an associate at Shelowitz & Associates PLLC, Barton, Barton & Plotkin, LLP, and as a Court Clerk for a New York Judge.  Darya was also an Articles Editor of the Hofstra Labor & Employment Law Journal, widely regarded as a prominent source in the field of labor and employment law in the U.S.
