About Dan Or-Hof

Dan is a Partner in PCZL’s Herzliya office, and Manager of the IT, Copyright and Internet Groups. Dan's practice focuses on representing companies in IT transactions, copyright licensing, media and entertainment agreements, information privacy, data protection compliance and regulation procedures, and Internet and electronic communications transactions and regulation. He also counsels on specialized legal issues, including open source software licensing, and electronic signatures regulation.

Dan appears before the Israeli Parliament (Knesset), as a legal expert and on behalf of clients, on such issues as communications regulation, copyright, electronic signatures, Internet, and privacy. He has appeared before numerous committees, including the Financial Committee, the Computers and Internet Subcommittee, and the Constitution, Law and Justice Committee. Dan has also appeared before the Israeli Justice Department and other Israeli governmental offices, committees, and institutions.

Among Dan's clients are IT companies, online ventures, financial institutions, telecom companies, information systems companies, an electronic signature certification authority (CA), information security companies, investment houses, insurance companies, advertising agencies, a copyright society, an education network, portals, content sites, advertisement networks, and e-commerce service providers.

Dan writes and lectures in his areas of practice in various academic, governmental and financial forums, including the Israeli Institute for the Training of Judges, the Institute for the Training of Attorneys, and professional workshops. Dan is also an adjunct lecturer in the faculty of law of the Colman College of Management.
