He manages and prosecutes utility and design patent matters for large and small clients, and advises clients on worldwide patent prosecution strategy. In addition, Caleb drafts licensing agreements, non-infringement and invalidity opinions, and manages intellectual property due diligence projects. Caleb also has experience in conducting reexamination proceedings before the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
Caleb’s practice encompasses a wide variety of technologies and areas, including microprocessors, cellular telephony, communications protocols, medical devices, mechanical devices (ranging from complex three-dimensional printers to barbeques), Internet security and commerce, and computer software and hardware.
Prior to joining PCZL, Caleb was an associate at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP, and at Kenyon & Kenyon, both in New York City. While at those firms, Caleb worked on patent litigation, patent prosecution, and licensing. Caleb was also a patent examiner at the USPTO, and practiced as a computer programmer prior to attending law school.
