Corporate Our corporate group advises technology-based companies at all stages of growth, and venture capital and financial institutions that invest in them. PCZL assists start-ups with issues such as business formation, creation of capital structure, and negotiating venture capital financing. We are equipped to accompany technology companies through the IPO process in Israel, the U.S., and the EU. As companies continue to grow and flourish, we assist them with ever-more complex business transactions, strategic alliances, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions.
Employment & Employee Compensation and Benefits The Employment & Employee Compensation and Benefits group focuses on employment issues associated with technology companies, such as personal employment agreements (vs. union based agreements typical in Israel in more traditional industries) and issues on the borderline between Employment Law and Intellectual Property Law. The group provides ongoing support for the Israeli operations of multinational companies and leading Israeli high tech companies. The group assists clients with equity compensation design and operation and specializes in the implementation in Israel of multinational corporate benefit plans, such as stock option plans, stock purchase plans and other equity based compensation and bonus plans.
Our Employment & Employee Compensation and Benefits group has special experience in establishing and providing legal support for mergers and/or acquisition of companies in Israel, and advising on the transition of employees and their benefits within the framework of such transactions.
Our labor dispute practice is a leading force in the drive for efficient and quick resolution of Israeli disputes regarding employment and benefits claims. The Employment & Employee Compensation and Benefits group was involved in several high-profile employment litigations, such as the dispute between the former Chromatics Employees and Lucent regarding their stock options and other litigations involving former senior employees and their employers.
