PCZL Supports & Advise SEAL
PCZL has helped in the establishment of SEAL (Social Entrepreneurship And Leadership in Israel) and offers SEAL pro bono legal services. The SEAL Foundation concentrates on assisting selected individuals improve their performance in order to benefit services in the public sector.
SEAL is a foundation established by former Israeli Navy Seal's (Amutat Atalef) together with US donors with the goal to seek to identify, empower and deploy proven ethical leaders from Israel’s private sector and defense establishment into the underserved public and nonprofit/social sectors to demonstrate that highly skilled leaders with strong values can facilitate improvements that are both dramatic and sustainable.
SEAL taps into this pool in order to locate these leaders, to further empower and develop their skills, to help them enter the public or social sectors and to continue to support their chosen path. SEAL’s mission is to catalyze new pockets of excellence and strengthen those that already exist, within local municipalities, the civil service, corporate social responsibility and non-profits. SEAL is made up of a network of individual leaders; those who have chosen this mission as their future. The bonds created and nurtured through SEAL for its Fellows will magnify the local successes and help drive larger scale change across the country. 2011 is the second year that the SEAL foundation has selected a group of young Israelis to participate in the program.
